IBC Amsterdam, New Software Updates, New Customers and New Team Members

We're excited to show off a new stand design this year at IBC. It's very different than previous year's versions. We think it will be more functional for our team and guests. We've added 2 private meeting rooms to go along with our 4 demo pods and we'll have some new graphics to show off as well as new features and product updates to share.

IBC2016 begins tomorrow and we've been working hard all week to get ready as evident by our team's committment to do the heavy lifting required to get the job done.

OASYS Hybrid and Virtualized OASYS for the Cloud will be highly visible at the show. BroadStream has led the way in IP playout with multichannel installs as far back as 2013. Our IP I/O includes full redundancy management with IP-based routing. At IBC we’re also showing virtualized playout for greater economies and agility with cloud on the horizon. We invite you to stop by and visit with us in Hall 8, Stand 8.B35. You can also make an appointment to meet with any team member here.

The IBCShow kicks off Friday, September 9th and we will continue our IBC tradition of ending Day 1 with a cocktail party and briefing with our Partners and Resellers.

Our Software Team in Zagreb has been very busy adding improvements to our software. Version 6.7.2 was just released and includes some fixes, speed improvements, stability improvements in certain areas and new features. A second release will be available around October/November that will jump it up even more.

We provide upgrades in a controlled release and our Support Team will reach out to each customer to schedule their upgrade. If you would like to get your upgrade sooner please email Support to make arrangements and schedule your upgrade.

Within the last few months we completed the commissioning work in the US for KMOS in Warrensburg, MO and CET in Denver and both are on-air and excited about their new systems. TV Tacoma will come on line shortly. Four other sites are in various stages and we'll talk about them in another post.

We have been joined by two new Team members in the US and two in the Asia Pacific Region and you will hear more about them over the next few weeks as we make official announcements. In addition to these 4 new Team members we are interviewing candidates to join our Sales Engineering and Support Teams in the US. You can find out more about these positions here.
